Synopsis: Beacon 23 Season 1 (2023), It's a science fiction psychological thriller TV series that premiered on November 12, 2023, on MGM+. It's based on the short story series of the same name by Hugh Howey. The show is set in the 23rd century and follows the story of a government agent named Rose (played by Lena Headey) and a stoic ex-military man named Aster (played by Stephan James) who find themselves trapped inside a beacon that serves as a lighthouse for intergalactic travelers. The beacon is located in the farthest reaches of the Milky Way, and the two characters must work together to survive and figure out how they got there.
